The agreement between you and WPtenet when you use our WordPress maintenance plans and one-off fixes.

The short version, in plain English
Maintenance, clearly scoped
Plans cover updates, security, backups, monitoring and small edits — bigger projects are quoted separately.
Cancel anytime
No lock-in. Cancel in one click and you simply won’t be billed for the next cycle.
Fair-use small edits
Small edits are content tweaks up to ~30 minutes each; we’ll always tell you before something needs a quote.
Indian law applies
The agreement is governed by the laws of India, with courts in Bengaluru having jurisdiction.

The service we provide
WPtenet provides done-for-you WordPress maintenance: core, theme and plugin updates, security hardening and malware scanning, daily off-site backups, uptime monitoring, performance care and small content edits, delivered on a recurring subscription. One-off fixes are single, flat-rate engagements for a specific problem.

Plans differ by update frequency, response time and number of small edits — see the Pricing page for current tiers. -
A “small edit” is a content or styling change taking up to about 30 minutes. -
Redesigns, new features, custom plugins, content writing and SEO campaigns are out of scope and quoted separately.

Your account & responsibilities
You must provide accurate account details and keep your login credentials confidential. You confirm you own or are authorised to manage every site you connect to WPtenet.

You remain responsible for your site’s content and its legality. -
You must maintain a valid hosting and domain arrangement — we maintain the WordPress installation, not the hosting contract. -
Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

Plans, billing & auto-debit
Subscriptions renew automatically at the interval you choose (monthly or annual). Indian customers are billed in INR via Razorpay with 18% GST and receive a GST invoice; US customers are billed in USD via Stripe. Prices shown always include the applicable total before you pay.

You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel from your dashboard at any time. -
Annual plans are billed upfront and priced at ten months (two months free). -
Failed payments are retried; the service pauses if payment cannot be collected after reasonable attempts.

Acceptable use & scope limits
We may decline work that is unlawful, infringes third-party rights, or risks harm to our infrastructure or other customers. Fair use applies to “unlimited” small edits: they are for ongoing upkeep of one site, not for stockpiling a redesign.

No use of the service for sites hosting malware, phishing or spam. -
We may suspend service for abuse, with notice where practical.

Warranties & limitation of liability
We work to industry best practice, but no maintenance service can guarantee a site will never go down or never be compromised. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

We are not liable for losses caused by your host, third-party plugins or changes made by others. -
Backups mean we can restore your site; they are a safety net, not an insurance policy for third-party failures.

Governing law & changes to these terms
This agreement is governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction. We may update these terms; material changes are announced by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the updated terms.
